Bob Denhardt is a nationally and internationally known expert on management and leadership. While celebrated for his academic work, he has also held major leadership positions in the “real world.” Bob’s combination of scholarly insights and practical understanding sets him apart in speaking to the major issues facing managers and leaders today.
In addition to his work with Denhardt Leadership, Bob has been Professor and Director of Leadership Programs in the Price School of Public Policy at the University of Southern California, where he also directed USC’s Executive Master of Leadership program. Bob is the author of a dozen books on leadership and organizational change, including MANAGING HUMAN BEHAVIOR IN PUBLIC AND NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS and THE DANCE OF LEADERSHIP. His latest book LETTERS TO A YOUNG LEADER was preceded by JUST PLAIN GOOD MANAGEMENT. Bob is a past president of the American Society for Public Administration and a fellow of the prestigious National Academy of Public Administration.
